The foundation of MTFOF Media (JUNE 1, 2015)

On June 1, 2015, Friendship Federation, formerly known as MTFOF Media, was founded by Sean Kyle B. Flores in Margot, Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines. The organization’s name, MTFOF, represented “My True Friends On Facebook,” emphasizing the importance of friendship and connections.

The journey began with a Facebook account created by Sean Kyle, using the name Jerome Agustin Torres. The first profile picture featured The Simpsons family, symbolizing humor, warmth, and relatability.

This marked the start of a remarkable journey in independent media, where Friendship Federation aimed to bring people together through creative and authentic content.


The AlDub Era (2015)

The Kalyeserye segment on Eat Bulaga was a major highlight of the MTFOF Media’s coverage. It featured a unique storyline revolving around the blossoming romance between Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza also known as “Yaya Dub”.

The segment gained immense popularity, and the MTFOF Media played a pivotal role in keeping fans engaged through its comprehensive coverage of each episode.


The PDU30 Era (2016)

In 2016 during the early months of the Duterte administration, MTFOF Media made its launch on social media platforms. Opened new accounts on Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, aiming to provide news and entertaining content to their growing audience. Leveraging the power of social media, the company adopted a user-friendly approach and quickly established a strong online presence.

MTFOF Media became known for its diverse range of content, including vlogs, news updates, entertainment and documentaries. Their approach was to create relatable and culturally relevant content that reflected the realities and aspirations of the Filipino.

The company’s content covered a wide array of topics, including social issues, politics and lifestyle. They embraced a balanced approach, ensuring that their content was both entertaining and informative, catering to a broad audience while encouraging critical thinking and dialogue.


The SBNIAN Era (2017)

ATM @ SBNHS is a segment of the Friendship Federation’s school events that has been an integral part of Sapang Bato National High School (SBNHS) since 2017. The segment aims to foster friendship and a sense of belonging among the students of SBNHS. It has become a highly anticipated and celebrated event, showcasing various activities and competitions that bring the school community together.

The Friendship Federation, a independent media organization dedicated to promoting positive relationships among students, collaborated with SBNHS to other projects. Since its inception, ATM @ SBNHS has had a profound impact on the students and the overall school community. The segment has successfully fostered a culture of friendship, unity, and inclusivity within SBNHS. It has become an essential part of the school’s identity, enhancing the student experience and promoting positive relationships among peers.

The efforts of Friendship Federation in organizing ATM @ SBNHS have been widely recognized. The segment has received accolades and appreciation from students, teachers, and the local community for its positive influence and contribution to the school’s vibrant atmosphere.


The Kapuso Era (2018)

The start of kapuso era refers to a significant period in the Philippine media landscape when Friendship Federation emerged as a formidable force in promoting and elevating talented personalities within the entertainment industry. In 2018, Friendship Federation coined to symbolize the rise and success of these individuals within the local media scene.

Friendship Federation’s commitment to nurturing and showcasing these personalities provided a stepping stone for their careers and opened doors to further success. The kapuso era served as a catalyst for change, challenging conventional norms and inspiring other independent media organizations to follow suit.


The SEA Games Era (2019)

Friendship Federation played a significant role in the media coverage of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, held in the Philippines. This explores the organization’s involvement in the SEA Games and its contributions to the field of sports journalism.

As the 2019 Southeast Asian Games approached, Friendship Federation eagerly stepped forward to contribute to the extensive media coverage of the event. The 2019 SEA Games was a highly anticipated multi-sport event that brought together athletes from Southeast Asian nations.

Friendship Federation recognized the significance of the SEA Games and the tremendous opportunity it presented for sports journalism. With their expertise and unwavering dedication, Friendship Federation provided up-to-date news, analysis, and exclusive interviews with athletes, coaches, and officials.


COVID-19 Pandemic Era (2020)

One of their notable contributions was during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, when they launched the “Diwa ng Pagkakaibigan” or “Spirit of Friendship” campaign to demonstrate patriotic support during these challenging times.

The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 presented an unprecedented challenge to communities worldwide. As people grappled with fear, uncertainty, and the impact of the pandemic, the Friendship Federation saw an opportunity to bring people together through their shared spirit of friendship.

The “Diwa ng Pagkakaibigan” campaign by the Friendship Federation left a lasting impact on the community and beyond. Through their tireless efforts, they helped alleviate the social and emotional burdens caused by the pandemic and instilled a sense of unity and patriotism among individuals.


The Mawaque Era (2021)

In 2021, the Friendship Federation faced a significant challenge when it decided to move it’s second headquarters to Mawaque Resettlement Center in Sapang Biabas, Mabalacat City, Pampanga due to demolition in Margot, Angeles City. The relocation brought about a series of struggles and hurdles for the organization.

The relocation process proved to be more challenging than anticipated for the Friendship Federation. The organization faced several struggles and obstacles during the transition to it’s new home.

Despite the struggles faced during the relocation, the Friendship Federation persevered and overcame the challenges with resilience and determination. The organization implemented several strategies to ensure a successful transition.


The rebranding , moving and beginning of new era (2022)

However, in the wake of certain controversies, the organization decided to rebrand itself and distance itself from its troubled past. On October 29, 2021, MTFOF Media officially became Friendship Federation, signaling a new chapter in its history.

Alongside the rebranding, Friendship Federation made the decision to relocate its headquarters. After spending 10 months at the Mawaque Resettlement Center in Sapang Biabas, Mabalacat City, the organization moved to its third and current headquarters in Sapang Bato, Angeles City, Pampanga. The new location provides a more conducive environment for the organization’s operations and growth.

Friendship Federation entered an new era when President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. assumed office. As a media organization, Friendship Federation closely followed the political landscape and the policies implemented by the new administration. It aimed to hold those in power accountable and provide unbiased reporting on the government’s actions.

In addition, Friendship Federation played a significant role in the media industry when television network ALLTV was launched. This move came after the organization severed ties with GMA, a major broadcasting company, in pursuit of greater journalism independence. ALLTV offers a diverse range of programming, including news, entertainment, and many more.


THE PRESENT (2023)

As the Friendship Federation gained recognition for its quality reporting and commitment to community engagement, its membership and influence continued to grow. The organization began attracting talented individuals who shared its vision, and the team expanded to include friends, personalities and many more.

Through innovative and creative storytelling, the Friendship Federation captured the hearts and minds of its audience, establishing itself as a trusted source of information and entertainment. The organization’s dedication to promoting positive narratives and highlighting the strength of friendship became its trademark.
